Yours are blurry and muddy, those posted later are crisp and clear. You can even see it in your screenshot, most notably in the ground textures at the bottom of the image. Screenshots are one thing, but you can trust me, if you use SweetFX with the sharpen shader on, you will see a MASSIVE difference in the textures. You can't mimic that using the in-game settings, no matter how hard you try. What you're missing here, and what isn't conveyed very well in downsized screenshots, is texture clarity. In fact I can get almost a perfect mimic of SweetFX if I want my game over saturated. As you can see my game doesn't look near as bad as the examples used. I'm not at all sure why sweetFX is being compare to the default game graphics though. I'm honestly not trying to discourage people from using this, just inform them they can get very similar results using the in game graphics settings. I cannot see why you wouldn't want to and it wouldn't take much just a bit of implementation. Part of me wants the devs to look into this and implement it in game menu (if AA works). Annoyingly FSAA doesn't work, out of or ingame now. Do any of you know why this might be? or have any tips? I have tried the settings for SMAA both on off, and tweaked everything loads, still nothing. The annoying thing for me is that I can't get SMAA to work, or it doesnt look like it is. I have got similar FPS to before except now i have AA off so its slightly higher. I like that you can tweak stuff quite easily, and see what it looks like on and off with scroll lock whilst in the game. It looked way better for me, the shadows and textures looked much nicer than before, with the same sort of feel. Firstly I have to say that if you are just completely put off immediately by the vividness and boldness of the colours (like me) then go into sweetfx settings and try vibrance on 0. At first the colours were all off for my monitor etc, and it looked a bit dark, but I quickly changed that and WOW, its brilliant. Just installed this little addon, it is brilliant.
